TP 03: Smart decision-making and reflection systems in farming

Cooperation interest

I am professor at Bursa Uludag University in the Economics and Aadministrative Sciences Faculty. In our project, we aim to design demand- and climate-sensitive agricultural policies with the help of econometric models and machine learning algorithms. For this purpose, (1) the demand for and (2) the production levels of some agricultural products will be predicted by taking economic, climate, and agricultural variables into account, respectively. I and my colleagues are keen to establish a joint consortium for the ICTA Food 2024 project call.
